My name is Paula Walton, as I mentioned in “About this journal”. I’m a working craftsperson. I’ve been self-employed since 1986, when I started selling the items that I make under the name A Sweet Remembrance. Among other things, I am a maker of spun cotton ornaments and holiday figures. Upon occasion I write magazine articles, am a Craftsperson in Residence, and a freelance designer. I teach and do demonstrations quite frequently, plus I was previously the director and curator of a small museum here in Connecticut.
My family and I live in a very old house, filled with old things, that sits on ten acres and is surrounded by even older barns. Are you beginning to see a theme here?
I have a husband, three sons, cats, antiques galore, and more gardens than I can possibly take care of, not necessarily in that order. Top billing changes from day to day. If you’d like to see more of my work or read a more detailed resume, please visit www.asweetremembrance.com.
I have just found this website and very much loving it. I also make many of one of a kind creations, and would love to learn this spun cotton designs. Please email and advise how i might adchive this because i live in the state Missouri. thank you and would love to hear all about what goes on in this world.
